This is a no-nonsense program that emphasizes heavy, multi-joint movements. Our primary focus is on building raw strength and developing the supportive musculature for fundamental barbell movements. This program focuses on four main exercises: squat, bench press, deadlift, and standing overhead press. Compound barbell exercises recruit the most muscle making them highly effective for building dense muscle tissue and total body strength. This program works well for beginners who want to learn the barbell movements or advanced lifters who want to cut the nonsense and get back to breaking PRs.
